📌 Bone Marrow Lesion Related to Disuse
- Most prominent 10–25 weeks following immobilization.
- Subchondral edema-like signal, Dotlike or linear patterns.
- Involvement of multiple bones in the knee can indicate this diagnosis.
✅ Accelerated Bone Remodeling: Destructive Bone Disorders
- Tumors, inflammation, infection, and fractures.
- Associated with altered bone remodeling.
- May lead to lytic, mixed, or sclerotic bone lesions.
✅ Angiogenesis and BME-like Signal
- Associated with structural or reactive bone lesions.
- Demonstrates BME-like signal on fat-suppressed fluid-sensitive MR images.
- A spectrum of BME-like changes can be detected:
