✅ ACL Repair Techniques

1️⃣ Primary ACL Repair

• Success Criteria: Primary repair is most effective when an avulsion occurs at the ACL's femoral or tibial attachment points.
• Bony Avulsion Treatment: Bony avulsion of the distal ACL can be treated successfully with direct bone-to-bone fixation.
• Mid-Substance Tears: Primary repairs for mid-substance ACL tears are frequently unsuccessful and are not recommended due to poor outcomes.

2️⃣Fracture Treatment Variability

• Type I Fractures: Nondisplaced fractures are commonly treated by immobilizing the knee in full extension.
• Type II, III, and IV Fractures: The treatment for these fracture patterns is more variable and subject to clinical discretion.

3️⃣ Arthroscopic Reduction and Internal Fixation of Tibial Eminence Fractures

• Technique Overview: A technique involving arthroscopic reduction and internal fixation using a cannulated drill bit and high-strength suture is described.
• Advantages: This method facilitates anatomic reduction, uncomplicated tunnel placement, and suture passing. It aims to allow for strong fixation and supports early rehabilitation efforts.
