- Tear of the deep medial collateral ligament meniscotibial ligament at its tibial attachment
- Thickening and increased signal of the meniscofemoral ligament
- Posterior root tear of the medial meniscus
- Suspected entrapment of the short meniscotibial ligament beneath the medial meniscus
- Tip: Possible reverse Segond fracture if meniscotibial ligament injury is an avulsion
