📌 Segond Fracture
- Avulsion fracture of anterolateral ligament at tibial insertion
- Associated with ACL, MCL, medial meniscus, posterolateral corner injuries
- Seen in around 40% of ACL injuries
- Indicates anterolateral rotatory instability
- Commonly occurs with sporting injuries
📌 Reverse Segond Fracture
- Avulsion of meniscotibial ligament at tibial insertion
- Associated with PCL, medial meniscus, ACL, MCL injuries
- Occurs with high-velocity trauma like motor vehicle collisions
- May be associated with knee dislocation
