📌 Anterior Medial Tibial Plateau Rim Fracture
- Fractures of the peripheral anterior margin of the medial tibial plateau are associated with posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries and can serve as an important indicator of potential PLC injury.
- One study reported a 35% incidence of these tibial plateau fractures in patients clinically suspected of having a PLC injury, with the majority involving the anteromedial rim (Emerg Radiol 2003;10(2):76-83).
