The posterior meniscofemoral ligament in the knee connects the medial femoral condyle to the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus. It runs posterior to the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) and attaches above the PCL. This ligament is positioned more posteriorly compared to the anterior meniscofemoral ligament, which attaches below the PCL.
